The Low Anthem - Charlie Darwin

Beautiful. I heard this first on Skins. I don't care what people may say, it's a great show and a great gateway to new music.

Ed Harcourt - All Of Your Days Will Be Blessed

Old school with Ed :) Reminds me of Liz.

Kasabian - Club Foot

With my recent trip to Prague I thought it would be a good idea to pay my respects to Jan Palach. And then I found out what really happened and felt less empathy for him and his cause.

Radiohead - Exit Music (For a Film)

Breathe, keep breathing
I can't do this alone

Still gives me goosebumps. Can bring me to tears if I'm in the mood.javascript:void(0)

Alanis Morissette - Mary Jane (Live)

An old, somewhat predictable entry, but still amazing.

You're the sweet crusader and you're on your way
You're the last great innocent
And that's why I love you

Manic Street Preachers - Faster

I hate purity. Hate goodness. I don't want virtue to exist anywhere. I want everyone corrupt.

Carole King - Crying in the rain

I never really understood this song until I lived in California where it never rained. Also, it turns out Carole covered this song. And I thought she wrote it. Cheeky thing.

Great line that gave me a little hope when grieving:
"Some day when my crying's done I'm gonna a wear a smile and walk in the sun."

Thinking about it, that's a lot more uplifting than the overuse of "some":
"Someone somewhere soon will take care of you" (Manics, This is Yesterday, another griefy song.)
